General information on data processing

Personal data is processed only to the extent necessary to operate this website, communicate with you and handle your inquiries. Completely anonymous use is not possible in every case, because access data may be processed for technical reasons when the website is accessed (see “Hosting”).

Hosting

This website is hosted by Hostinger. When you access the website, technically necessary access data may be processed at server level, in particular:

• IP address
• Date and time of access
• Page or file accessed
• Browser and user-agent information
• Referrer, if transmitted by the browser
• Technical request and status information

Purpose: technical operation, stability, security and error analysis.

Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure and technically reliable operation of the website).

Contact by email or telephone

If you contact us directly by email or telephone, we process the data you voluntarily provide in order to handle your inquiry and communicate with you.

Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where the communication serves to take steps prior to entering into a contract or concerns an accommodation inquiry; where necessary, this is supplemented by Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for general communication. Your data is stored only for as long as necessary to handle your inquiry and to comply with any resulting contractual or statutory retention obligations.

Inquiry form

The following data may be processed through the inquiry form:

• Arrival date
• Departure date
• Number of adults
• Number of children
• Children’s ages, optional
• First name
• Last name
• Email address
• Telephone number, optional
• Message, optional

Purpose: handling your non-binding accommodation inquiry and contacting you.

Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract). The consent checkbox in the form merely confirms that you have read this privacy policy; it does not constitute separate consent within the meaning of Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. The application itself does not store the form data in a separate database.

Email delivery via Resend

We use Resend, a service provided by Plus Five Five, Inc., 2261 Market Street #5039, San Francisco, CA 94114, USA, for the technical delivery of the inquiry email. When you submit the inquiry form, the form data required for the email is transmitted to Resend.

Resend processes customer data in the USA. According to Resend, email and log data under the Free, Pro and Scale plans is generally retained for 30 days and backups for 7 days; following termination of use, Resend states in its Data Processing Addendum (DPA) that remaining customer data is deleted within 90 days. Resend provides a Data Processing Addendum in accordance with Article 28 GDPR. For transfers to the USA, Resend refers in particular to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

Legal basis for our processing: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for handling your accommodation inquiry. Resend is engaged as a technical service provider acting as a processor.

Cookies and similar technologies

Based on the website’s current technical setup, this website does not use cookies and does not use Local Storage or Session Storage for analytics, marketing or any other purposes that are not technically necessary. No analytics or tracking services are currently used.

Fonts and images

Fonts are provided locally by our own web server. Images are also delivered locally. Accessing this website therefore does not establish a connection to Google Fonts or external image services.

External links

This website contains links to external websites, such as regional information and service providers. A connection to these providers is established only when you actively open the relevant link. The respective operator of the external website is generally responsible for data processing on the website you then visit.
